Breakfast Briefing:
When Data Centre security fails - the 6 week migration solution

Thursday 28th November. 8am on a chilly morning in central London, saw the coming together of around 50 CIOs and senior technical experts for the Pelicam/Company85 Breakfast Briefing: When Data Cente security fails. The following 2 hours were interactive, with numerous questions and reflections from the floor, and conversation and networking carried on long into the morning.

Mark Worts and Greg Cope presented a case study from Company85, having worked with the FT on their cloud provision. Ross Catley and Cameron Black presented the Pelicam/giffgaff story, where due to the collapse of 2e2, giffgaff had to migrate their entire Data Centre in what actually was only 4 weeks (not 6 as thought).

Many attendees commented on how the subject matter either covered aspects they hadn't considered, or that they might need a different approach to, and that they found the session thought provoking.

We've shared the speaker presentations, and will shortly share the case studies from both examples explored during the morning.

If you weren't able to attend, and would like the stories brought to life, we'd be delighted to have a coffee and share the remarkable experiences. emma.easton@pelicam.com
