The Pelicam Ridgeway Challenge

Over the weekend of 22nd/23rd May, we succesfully completed our Ridgeway challenge, to help raise funds for Lifelites so they can continue to make a world of difference to the lives of terminally ill children in hospices all around the UK by providing a fully maintained technology package.

Peter, Kate and Nick cycled the whole of the National Ridgeway Trail, 93 miles in total. It was the hottest weekend of the year we have had so far (28C) so the heat was an issue as were the bumps and numerous hills!

Despite a few aches and pains, one smashed bike and two flat tyres, they finally reached the top of Ivinghoe Beacon at 20:00 on the Sunday.

Well done to them all for completing this very tough challenge. Their efforts have been rewarded in the knowledge that we helped raise a significant amount for Lifelites.
